Is A Service Dog for Me?
If you or a loved one is considering the possibility of a service dog, then this seminar is for you.
If you’ve made the decision to get a service dog but are unsure what to do next, this is for you, too.
And if you’ve gotten a service dog but it hasn’t turned out as you’d hoped and expected, this is also for you.
Demystifying the Service Dog Experience is a seminar led by Rachel Friedman, MSW, LISW, and owner of A Better Pet, LLC. The seminar, scheduled for Sunday, November 17, 1:30-3:30 p.m., will showcase the process of obtaining, training, and living with a service dog.
Rachel Friedman, MSW, LISW, owner of A Better Pet LLC, will be hosting this Nov. 17 seminar, Demystifying the Service Dog Experience, showcasing the process of obtaining, training, and living with a service dog.
Rachel has nearly 20 years experience training dogs and, more specifically, their people. She also has successfully placed more than 30 service dogs with human partners. At this special event, Rachel—a social worker AND dog trainer—will give you the straight talk on how service dogs are raised and trained, how they’re paired with appropriate human partners, and how they can improve the lives of their owners.
This seminar is a way to better under the process of selecting and training a service dog. It is also a first look at a new, comprehensive course and online community Rachel is designing to help more people in their quest to benefit from service dogs. Don’t miss this chance to learn more about this new program, set to debut in mid-2020.
