The Nauticals - Our 2026 Litter
The “Nauticals,” the octet from Tito and Pinto’s third litter, born May 27, 2026, are starting their new chapters. This morning, July 28, at nearly 9 weeks old, Buoy moved out of her first home with mom and littermates, uncle and older brother, the 3 cats, and the first human (me) to begin formal puppy raising as a service dog under full contract.
As the name suggests, the puppies’ litter was nautical-themed; in birth order: Anchor, Tiller, Aura, Keely, Orby, Buoy, Schooner, and Jib. The firstborn and youngest are male; all others are female.
The puppies were purpose-bred for service, therapy, and/or high-quality companionship roles. This is the third and final litter for Pinto & Tito. The pups are 1/2 Standard Poodle, 1/4 English Springer Spaniel, and 1/4 Old English Sheepdog. Their sizes will likely range between 50-80 when full grown. They are non-shedding, soft coated and sweet, gentle puppies.
They are available for consideration RIGHT NOW! Visit our Contact page to reach out.
They’re uniformly showing amazing temperaments, thanks—in part—to the brief, mild stress-inducing exercises I performed from Days 3–16. The real secret sauce, however, is the amount of time and energy spent exposing them to a wide variety of sights, scents, sounds, and surfaces!
Allowing them worldly experience during this early, formative time in their development is helping these puppy dogs better develop lifelong resilience and confidence. It primes them to be excellent service and therapy dog prospects. The previous two litters (14 dogs, total) produced by Pinto and Tito have all developed into exceptional pups, many of whom are service dogs! You can learn some of the successes in the updates from their older sisters, Brioche (dob 8/2/2023) and Truffle (dob 5/19/2024).
These puppies have had their first shots, their first flea and tick preventive, have been wormed, and are wholly weaned and eating Life’s Abundance large breed puppy premium dog kibble, Weruva canned dog food, and Olewo carrots.
These puppies come with or without training support. Contact us for more info and see if one of The Nauticals is a fit for you!

August 26, 2026 – Week 13 Update!
Our “Nautical” litter, born on May 27, 2026, is now 13 weeks old and thriving! Out of the original eight, four wonderful pups are still looking for their forever homes: Anchor and Jib (males), and Schooner and Orby (females). While they are currently in the 19–22 pound range, we expect them to reach anywhere from 45-ish pounds to as high as ~70 pounds once fully grown. To learn more about these available pups, please fill out a contact form and we’ll get back to you.
These puppies have been raised with extensive socialization, receiving plenty of love and attention from multiple dogs (attending DIPs), many people, and children of all ages. They are calm and comfortable with rain, thunder, lightening, vacuum cleaners, electric lawn mowers, coffee grinders, smoothie-making, grooming, and showers/baths. They’ve already enjoyed adventures like puppy yoga and have become pros at their vet visits (pictures of them at vet — 8 weeks and then 12).

We are currently focusing on crate training, introductions to leash work, and each wears a quick-release martingale collar. They are demonstrating mastery over “sit” and “down” in a variety of settings and come when called as a group and individual, inside and outside. Overall, they are incredibly calm, loving, and deeply people-focused—the perfect companions for the right families. In move-in condition. They are up to date on vaccinations (needing only their final booster and rabies at 16 weeks).
Serious inquiries only. The other 4 puppies are entering into roles of service and therapy work, and we’ll provide updates through Facebook & Instagram!

Our first video featuring The Nauticals covers labor and delivery of our eight beautiful puppies! These puppies are 50% Poodle, 25% English Springer Spaniel, and 25% Old English Sheepdog. This is the third pairing of parents Pinto and Tito, and these puppies look to be very similar to their older siblings. Check back for more videos on this spectacular litter.
