The Nauticals - Spring/Summer 2026

The journey began in the summer of 2023 with “The Bready Bunch,” a litter of four puppies born to my Springer Spaniel/Poodle mix, Pinto, and friends’ Poodle/Old English Sheepdog mix, Tito. Three of those four became service dogs, and one (Nickel) became my own companion.

Next came “The Shrooms,” a purposeful litter of ten amazing souls from the same parents. They were resilient, strong, affectionate, and loving. Many were placed in service homes, where they have proven invaluable—alerting to medical conditions, helping people navigate social and emotional challenges, and acting as a buoying spirit for their families.

After taking a year off from breeding to contemplate my future, I am thrilled to introduce “The Nauticals,” the octet from Tito and Pinto’s third litter, born in June 2026. As the name suggests, they are named after nautical themes—more on that to come.

These puppies were purpose-bred for service, therapy, and high-quality companionship roles, and they will be available for consideration in the coming weeks. At nine days old, they are already six days into a 16-day Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) program, which began when they were three days old. While I cannot definitively prove the outcome, they are already demonstrating amazing resilience through the brief, stress-inducing exercises I perform.
