For anyone interested in learning more about training dogs — their own, or for others.
While there is no substitute for hands on training help, sometimes geography can be a barrier. In our current need to socially distance from one another, it’s an ideal time to work on training of your puppy or dog. While historically Live Video Training Sessions assisted those who were greater distances from A Better Pet, during our new world of self quarantine I am offering Distance Learning to local and distance clients. If you have the technology, we can set up webcam sessions right in the comfort of your home (ZOOM). Session Part I consists of a 2.5 hour lecture and demonstration, observations and coaching. You learn the concepts and understand and practice techniques to improve timing, awareness and how to develop the ebb and flow to give your dog the feedback (s)he needs. Final 1.5 hour follow up scheduled during initial session (usually within 1-2 weeks) to demonstrate progress in protocols given at the end of Session I. Includes ongoing email and text support. NOTE: Local participants receive a free lifetime membership to DIP (Drop in Play).
