Rachael Kinstlinger, a lifelong animal lover, spent her childhood playing with, working with, and caring for any animal she came into contact with. Despite an extreme childhood passion for horses, nothing ever quite competed with her lifelong passion for dogs.
In 2003 she took her parents Golden Retriever, Tucker, through a group class taught by Rachel Friedman. Inspired by not only the techniques used but also by the teacher, Rachael began apprenticing under Rachel's supervision in early 2006. After an intense 18 months of observation, assisting and attending educational seminars both locally and nationally as well as reading/studying a wide range of topics on all things dog, by late summer 2007 Rachael began providing in home private training as well as leading group classes.
She now focusses her work on both private new puppy and/or new dog in home training and has advanced to Lead Trainer for both Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy Next Step Classes through SELREC. In addition to her work at A Better Pet LLC, Rachael also has a boarding or boarding/training service in her home. Rachael began providing select rehab/fostering for great dogs through the Geauga County Kennel. If she's working on a project, that dog will be on the A Better Pet LLC petfinder site.
